MIKE SCHNEIDER. Formerly a lawyer, teacher and award-winning freelance writer, Schneider has published more than 80 poems in literary journals. He received the 2012 Editors Award in Poetry from The Florida Review, and won the 2016 Robert Phillips Prize (selected by Richard Foerster) from Texas Review Press, which has published his second chapbook, How Many Faces Do You Have?
ARLENE WEINER has been a college instructor, a cardiology technician, a Shakespeare scholar, an editor, and a member of a team developing computer programs for education — as well as a mom and a den mother. Her poems have been published in journals and anthologies, and read by Garrison Keillor on The Writer’s Almanac. Arlene was awarded a residence at the MacDowell Colony. Ragged Sky Press published two collections of her poetry, Escape Velocity (2006) and City Bird (2016). Arlene also writes plays. Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Company produced her «Findings» in March.
