This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental postures of Yoga. We'll learn & practice basic poses, breathing techniques, and try a little meditation. We'll learn common yoga flowing sequences, such as Sun Salutations. Classes are geared toward the level of the individual students. This is a great class for beginners, and anyone who likes an instructive, relaxing class focusing on the basics. Start off the new year happy and healthy!
Sri Yantra Yoga Studio is a small, family owned studio with a peaceful atmosphere and deep yogic roots. We've been here for 19 years. Certified Instructor Patti Spadaro has a gentle & easy going nature. She is also faculty at Washington & Jefferson College — teaching courses in yoga and meditation there, and developing curriculum.
