On Friday June 15th join us for Hooray for Hollywood, Pittsburgh Concert Chorale
’s salute to the music of the silver screen. This concert includes a little bit of everything, from MGM classics “Singin’ in the Rain”and “Good Mornin’” to themes from blockbuster movies like Titanic, to songs from movie musicals like The Sound of Music and music from Disney’s Pinocchio and Frozen. Sing and dance along with some of your favorites. Perfect for the entire family!
While on site, be sure to experience Van Gogh, Monet, Degas: The Mellon Collection of French Art from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the blockbuster exhibition on view at The Frick Art Museum through July 8. Also be sure to check out Driving the Disenfranchised: The Automobile’s Role in Women’s Suffrage at the Car and Carriage Museum beginning July 7.
The first floor of Clayton will be open to tour at your own pace (free of charge) during each of our Summer Fridays. Don’t miss a chance to see the rooms of this beautiful historic home in the summer evening light. In addition, each Friday will feature lawn games and family-friendly activity tables.
